Tried this last week after recommendations from the Miramichi location and will certainly be back again! Both the drink and food menus were expansive. I panicked for some reason and ordered the Bollywood Punch, a cocktail that seems on the basic/sweeter side that I normally wouldn't get. But it really surprised me! It was well balanced with depth and really wasn't too sweet. I'm pretty excited to try the others. We ordered medium chana masala, mild lamb rogan josh, garlic naan, garlic cilantro naan and rice. The server offered mild, medium, spicy options for the curries. I sadly can't handle much spice. The mild rogan josh was only slightly spicy (possibly not spicy at all?) just as described on the menu. My dining partner, on the other hand, is a good 7/10 on spice (aka enjoys heat but can't do authentic) and ordered medium. The medium was a fair bit spicier than most mediums in the Maritimes, but nothing unbearable, just a note for those trying to gauge spice levels. The garlic and garlic cilantro naan were well seasoned and quite crispy. The flavours were present but not overpowering, which I found to be different and pleasant, as it allowed the curry to stand out. We were in a two person booth and, like other reviews have mentioned, it felt a little tight. There were also no hooks to hang out jackets. However, I liked the bar space and appreciated the window into the kitchen. Overall, honestly, really nice! The menu really runs the gamut. I am obsessed with the fusion pub fare, as it means I can bring older family members who are more "food rigid". Excited to come back with them.

We loved the Mango Chicken Curry! Must try! You can customize how spicy it can be, but the mild version can be tolerated by almost anyone, i guess. The chicken wings was newly cooked too! Although the penne pasta was a little bland, overall food and ambience made this visit worthwhile. You should give it a try!

If you’re looking for a new spot to dine in Sackville, Namaste is now open and serving authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a warm ambiance, with wines and drinks available on the menu. They offer a variety of curry dishes, flavorful masalas, and tasty tandoori options — all best enjoyed with their fresh naan and rice. They also have a lunch menu available until 3pm, making it a great choice for both midday meals and evening dining. A welcome addition to Sackville’s food scene!

This restaurant is a great boon for the small town of Sackville. On Friday night, they were packed. We ordered fruit punch, mango lassi and hot tea to drink. We ordered onion bhaji and the cheese naan as well as the coconut naan. Our main meals consisted of lamb Rogan Josh, mango chicken, Dahl makhni, Chana masala and the Indian fried chicken sandwich with spicy fries. The fruit punch was excellent and the mango lassi was, well, a mango lassi. The onion bhaji was very similar to pakora I’ve had in the past, with less batter - it was excellent. The Rogan Josh had good spicing and the lamb was the most tender I’ve ever eaten. I would have liked a lot more heat for a 4/5 spice level, but I’ll just ask for the hottest they offer next time. The mango chicken was sweet, but not overly so, and it was beautifully smooth. Again, the flavor and spice created a lovely flavor and it had a lot of chicken. The Chana masala was mildly spiced, as I asked, and had a wonderful blend of spices - the person cooking these foods understands Indian spices and flavors very well. The Dahl makhni was good as well although it was my least favorite of the curries. Still very good though. The cheese naan was, sorry, just gross. It tasted like it had cheese whiz spread on naan. We didn’t end up eating that. The coconut naan was messy but sweet and yummy. The unexpected winner of the night was the outstanding tandoori spiced fried chicken sandwich - that was crazy delicious. I think my son gobbled it down without taking a breath. This has been declared his favorite fried chicken sandwich of all time - amazing! And the spiced fries were also beyond good. I am a nut for French fries and Indian spiced fries, oh yes, send me a boatload. Seriously, genius! We finished off with two desserts - gulab jamun and salted caramel donuts. They were good, sweet and sticky as they should be and a nice treat to end the meal. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout and our food came out quickly. My one complaint would be that the booth was too small and painfully uncomfortable - if you are fat, you’re gonna be in distress. Lastly, as the business continues to grow and succeed, I would like to see bhatura bread and kheer added to the menu, and maybe a nice biryani which is so time consuming to make at home. I wish the owners great success and highly recommend this charming Indian restaurant.

I've eaten at three other Indian restaurants, all in Moncton, and can confidently say this is the best Indian food in the region. They have hired more staff and the service and speed is now very fast, and the price is so affordable ($15.50 for a butter chicken lunch)! Our new favourite local restaurant.

My wife and I ate here for lunch today, and absolutely loved it. I picked the mild butter chicken with buttered nan bread, and it was very tasty. My wife had some questions about the menu and the waitress quickly got her answers, and the food was fairly quick to arrive. The menu is very reasonably priced as well. We will be back :)

A wonderful and welcome addition to the area!! Food was top notch service was perfect. After reading the previous bad reviews I feel like there might have been a vendetta involved because there was nothing “dingy” about this beautiful restaurant. It felt clean, classy, focused. And prices were more than reasonable. Excited to return!
